WhiskyBack was conceived and developed by Stuart MacLean Ramsay and brewed in Portland, Oregon. The WhiskyBack beers are the perfect companion for drinking whiskies neat. They are a family of beers designed to pair with, enhance and celebrate straight whiskies.  Although taking their inspiration from the world of whisky and classic beer styles, WhiskyBacks are also intended to be enjoyed as stand-alone session beers.

*Alas, WhiskyBack beers were available on draft only, and the pandemic closed the bars and restaurants that carried the beers. With no customers, WhiskyBack Brewing closed too. With my current focus on writing and education, starting up the brewery again is too much work for one person. It’s an ideal opportunity for a brewery or distillery to take on board, and I’d love to be involved as a consultant and educator. Do reach out if you’re interested.
